Why can't Argentina beat Germany in World Cups?

Argentina are good, they have fast players, they should be able to blow by Germany with the likes of Messi, Aguero and DiMaria.

I think it's more about Germany still being underrated.

7 of those 11 german players play in Buyernwinsliga and who really watches that. That Argie team has players scattered all over european top clubs even if they aren't great players like Demichelis, Rojo and Lavezzi. They get rated because people have actually seen them play.

Because World Cup attracts a shit ton of casuals who know ~10 players and those casuals tend to think that if Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez or Neymar don't play for your team then it doesn't have good individualities
