What would the NFL do if a player decided to kill another to give his team an advantage?

Like what if a 3rd string lineman on a team like the Vikings murdered Aaron Rodgers?

The team would be disqualified from the post season, give up draft picks, possibly lose their coaching staff and the player would go to prison.

Well the question is did he admit his reason for doing it? Because if he just did it and simply said he felt like it then there team isnt to blame so I dont think they could enforce those penalties on them.

Oh im not disputing that, he will def go to jail. Im saying he cant just come out and say I did it for the purpose of helping my team. If he keeps his mouth shut the team wont suffer for his crimes.

But wouldnt they have to prove the teams involvement. What if the killer just says he hated the guy or something like that. Denied team involvement.
