Kurt Busch debuts the new Monster Energy paint scheme at Martinsville this weekend. I guess Gene couldn't wait to start sharing the bills for putting the 41 on the track.

In other news, FIA made a decision on the Yacaman/Bradley incident at Fuji.
Bradley found at fault, KCMG has been warned.
>Yacaman had a higher top speed at the exit of the last turn before the crash than Bradley, with Bradley leaving no room for overtaking. >Yacaman braked twice to avoid contact on the straight following the turn. >Unlike the previous ten laps in the same location, Bradley shifted into 6th gear, causing his car to slow and the eventual contact with Yacaman. >Bradley began his braking 40 meters earlier than the previous lap, extending the braking zone from 150 to 190 meters. “The Stewards consider that all these elements of proof show the defense of his position by the driver of the No. 47 car was potentially dangerous for himself as well as for the driver of the following car

Logano remind anyone else of a young Gordon? Not only the success, but also the way he's viewed by other drivers and fans.

>>63177206 No. They're completely different.
Gordon was a diamond that needed polishing when he came to the Busch Series, and when Rick Hendrick hired him he started having more success than any other driver in his age category had ever had. He dominated everyone and outside of Ricky Rudd/Rusty Wallace taking cheap shots at him in his early career he never really had any on or off-track issues with guys.
Logano had extreme potential from the time he came up, but Gibbs rushed him to Cup and by Year 3 they had pretty much given up on him despite his results improving (Remember: Logano was going to get replaced by Carl Edwards in 2012 before Edwards re-signed with Roush). He got in a Penske ride and I personally think he's got a huge chip on his shoulder about the fact that he was Gibbs' future standout only to get shown the door. I think why he's not popular with his competitors is he's trying to make up for the fact that whenever he got roughed up early in his career his Dad would get up in other guy's faces instead of him (This is an Italian thing), which gave off the perception that Joey was a crybaby who couldn't fight his own battles.

The P2 engine success as far as I know is all Nissan Japan/Renault and nothing to do with him.
