>>63171314The committee has said they look at common opponents, so that's pure speculation. And if we are going to speculate, then Navy, Stanford and Temple could look roughly as good as Michigan, UCLA and whichever Pac 12 team gives Utah their 3rd best win. And Utah's loss would be much worse.
I'm not saying that ND would jump Utah in this case, but its silly to say that their chances are much different at this point.
