They catch the ball, so QB matters to the extent they throw the ball to a guy in coverage. Brady is better than most, so gronks stats will be higher, but not percentages and the other metrics. Gronk beats them all. It's a team sport, it's all context, but if you watch him, he is clearly superior, based on his skill, athleticism, and aggressiveness. Brady just puts the ball where he can showcase those traits.
