Short answer: No. Torrent does NOT include any readme or similar file, strictly the actual books in *,cbr format.
More info:
The top .\DIR\ is the actual torrent download. So, all those *.rar files are dumped into .\Calvin & Hobbes Comic\
When you unpack the *.rar archive, you get the contents as shown in the bottom .\DIR\. Namely all those *.cbr files (that's the exact naming structure). The misc extra files that I whited out, the .\Calvin & Hobbes Comic\ .\DIR\ and the Calvin & Hobbes Comic.torrent file are just my organization of other related data, etc.
For anyone who doesn't know, the way to extract from the multi-part *.rar collection in the top .\DIR\ is that you make sure all those parts are in together a single directory, then you select file "Calvin & Hobbes.part01.rar" with a *.rar-capable ZIP utility (7-Zip is free and just about the best available), then tell your ZIP utility to extract to whatever .\DIR\ you want and (if it's a non-retarded utility) it will automatically use all 44 *.rar parts to create all the *.cbr files you see in the bottom .\DIR\.
CBR is for "Comic Book Reader" format, which is really just a *.zip file. So, you can rename any *.cbr file -> *.zip and then unZIP that file into a directory of individual images and use any image viewer (IrrfanView, HoneyView, etc.) to open each page individually. SEE: --

If you want to compare quality, use that image from that post; it's directly uploaded as provided in-torrent. It seems very typical of the rest of the torrent.
