So guys, I'm newbie with this system, and I want to GM for a few friends, which adventure would be good for a newbie GM and newbie players? I'm thinking in "Million Year Echo", what do you guys think?

I'd add that other teams might end up picking up lucrative sponsorship deals if their public image aligns with particular brands. Canny teams aim not to necessarily win, but bribe editors and producers so that the footage makes them look good to advertising and marketing executives. You might even be able to get your own corporate sponsored spin-off show afterwards.

Plus the inadvertent hilarity of people thinking they'll escape cold storage by signing some contract with a corporation, when the contract only stipulates use of their image - so they get put back into cold storage while CGI facsimiles of them shill products.

And then the subsequent documentary / reality series about the lives of the indentures on the gameshow, sold off as "Desperate Indentures Agree To Do The Dumbest Shit!"

If characters are "truly skilled enforcer(s)", then I'm assuming combat is going to feature in it a bit, at which point it might be worth not combining things into "melee" and "ranged". I know it makes things simpler in terms of rules, but I feel like the separated skills give room for each character to have a signature style of fighting if they so want it.

I like the Neo-Paris setting. You might want to flesh out some descriptions of what exactly those who like to be seen being seen are wearing and the like, such that what you're wearing can indicate whether you're on the cutting edge of a trend or just somebody following the crowd in terms of fashion. Basically, if wealth and conspicuous consumption are going to be important, spend a bit of time working out some good descriptions for how it's done.

If you're going combat heavy, shedding the granularity of separate ranged skills will make the characters more same-y in combat. It'll also make those 800 CP go further. Also why are spray weapons still their own thing?

More on travel in neo-paris would be good, especially the availability/commonality of air travel, as lunar gravity is still a thing. Also AI-piloted cars are probably not a surprise at all, as the tech has probably been established for 80+ years by AF10.

What I wanted to achieve by streamlining combat skills was giving more opportunities for players to deploy different fighting strategies. Else I felt they'd be stuck with the guns they invested in. For example, a player encounter a gangster, manages to disarm him and then wants to shoot him? Nah he can't hit for shit, because the gangster had a pistol and player invested in beam weapons. I want them to be able to improvise more easily.
Also I forgot Spray Weapons were a thing

In any case thanks a lot for your suggestions, I'll delve deeper into that.

If rules complexity doesn't bother you, you could reduce the penalties for defaulting between weapon skills. Maybe -20 or even -10 instead of -30? It'd allow for much more flexibility, while still allowing a lot of open use.

The trouble is that improvisation should be about making "what you've got to hand" fit with "what skills you have to hand"; making it so that everyone can easily invest in all of the relevant skills means that the improvisation feels less interesting. You're reducing the number of strengths a character has to improvise in their favour or, rather, those strengths aren't going to be particularly unique.

Trying to find a way to smuggle a sword in to a swanky night-club because you're a blade specialist creates opportunities for the story, as players seek to find ways to maximise the use of their skills. While the gangster example is fine, remember that you are usually looking at a group - the gangster is disarmed and somebody, the guy who's good with kinetic weapons, picks it up and shoots him with it. The player gets to feel special because their skill got used. If everyone can pick up the gun, because everyone's put some points into ranged weapons because you're playing gang enforcers, then it doesn't let somebody play to their character's strength in the same way. A party of four people can easily cover each of the traditional weapon skills between them.

In microgravity yes. Elsewhere they need some of those legs to walk. I think there's also a hard cap on how much bonus damage you can get from extra limbs, to prevent them from carrying four rocket launchers

IIRC The Jovians have used frankenstein and Frankenfreak to refer to really heavily augmented people. I imagine that stuff like zombie, animated corpse, and empty-headed could be used for resleeves/reinstates.
