>>43354607Well, fitting the artstyle and fitting the setting are not really the same thing. The TF2 characters do not match the artstyle of the game, they were changed to make sense when put into the comic. Also because 3d models look odd in a 2d comic.
And it is more than a matter of aesthetics. All of the characters have a lot of visual personality, mostly for the game's sake, whereas she has virtually none. I could take her out of this comic and put her into several more without any changes. She would appear out of place in those ones as well, but only to the same degree as this one.
But you are free to disagree. This is my opinion, after all. Its not like I have any physical evidence that compares the artstyle of this comic to those of tumblr or any statistics about self-inserts.
