>>43362021>Mullom Berrybeth>Halfling>As a child, he became obsessed with adventuring. This, coupled with his hair-trigger temper (despite his kindly personality), led his parents to give him up to his Gran, an elderly woman living on the outskirts of their villiage. She agreed to take him, since she sympathized with his wanderlust, which was seen as an abnormality amongst the other Halflings in their community-- even frowned upon. She'd actually been an adventurer when she was young, so she taught him the ropes and how to use a weapon that suited his strengths and personality-- a maul. When he reached his teenage years, he set out
for the roads of adventure. Always the sweetheart to anyone he passed by, he found himself cheated many times. Eventually, he learned how to play the charlatan game himself, and sometimes played a rigged ball-in-the-cup game to people he sensed were up to no good. One day, he reached a grand city by the name of Balathor, where he joined an group of young adventurers tasked with slaying an evil necromancer brewing trouble in the forests outside the city. After traversing the lair, they reached the fiend in the darkest depths of his hideaway. They quarreled, and for the finishing blow, Mullom gathered his strength, charged forward, and swung his maul full-force straight at the necromancer's legs. The force of the blow was so great, the man's knees ripped away from the rest of his body. Everyone proceeded to be impressed.
>and that's where he got his signature move>The Knee SmasherAlso his maul was henceforth called The Facilitator of the Breakage of Knees, or just The Facilitator for short.
