Favorite... Favorite... Man it's hard, cuz I have different favs for different universes. Aesthetically I think the halo UNSC have god tier designs. Star Wars has some of the best ships period, and the empire is endlessly awesome in props and sets.
The geth were also pretty cool.
Fuck anything borg related, the fanbase for them got increasingly autistic. Same with the federation "swear we aren't commies". The 40k imperium deserves a special place in hell, one of my group was a huge 40k nut and wouldn't stop trying to drag it into the game, then got upset that the stuff in my game didn't line up since it wasn't even space stuff to begin with.
Also the reavers were just fireflys chaotic evil plot orcs, cuz apparently Somali pirates who are both vicious but still having legitimate motives apparently couldn't be translated into space.
