>>43378265Advice depends upon the edition you are using, but... True Seeing has limited range (I want to say 120' but am not sure). You can suppress it with an anti-magic spell or Dispel Magic, though as an inherent supernatural ability, this will be only temporary... but that might be all you need.
And there's more to illusion than just visuals. Maybe you just need that balor to look the other way for a moment... is that the roaring voice of a demon prince behind him? Does the smell of charred bodies lure someone around a corner, or make them more cautious? Phantasms should also work because they are not visual effects.
And then if you want to get super tricky, wait until you know that an enemy is scrying upon you, and use visual illusions then. True seeing doesn't work through other divination types. You can pull some great cons (if your DM is on the same page) via this method. If a demonic enemy thinks your party is getting its ass kicked by a dragon or whatever, he might pop in to finish the job... and be unpleasantly surprised to find that there was never a dragon, the cleric is not down, the paladin is actually at full hp, and you have all your spells (save one)....
Finally, I found this bit of advice when I was in your situation, but my DM disallowed it... though yours might not. You get this feat
> http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Invisible_Spell_(3.5e_Feat)and use it with the Obscuring Mist spell.
> http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Obscuring_mistNow, the spell is invisible, so everyone without True Seeing can see right through it. Everyone with True Seeing... is affected by the obscuring mist, and can't see any farther than 5'. Saving throw: no. Spell resistance: no. Sucks to be a demon.
