Mass Combat Edition

The old GURPS General died, so here is the new one.

Has anyone actually played a game with the mass combat system? With the new rules for stating individual heroes as units, I'm tempted to try a Dynasty Warriors style game where you just take on hundreds of dudes at once.

From 1d4chan:

"Night Shift is a setting and resources for running a horror-game. It is the brainchild of a collaboration of some anons on /tg/. Players are employees working the night shift at a gas station on the lonely side of nowhere. They must balance the drudgery of their mundane duties and responsibilities with the uncanny, preternatural, supernatural, and paranormal events which seem to happen at this particular gas station."

This project may be dead, but I'm making this thread as one last shot at potential revival. I'll dump everything I have that isn't available on the 1d4chan page: http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Night_Shift

Who else plays? Just had an epic game last night using multiple expansion sets. We all cycled through red and made it back to orange before winning. Touch and go in the middle, but we pulled through.

Who are your favorite characters?
Weapons?
Tactics?
What expansions do you like?
Things you'd like to see in future expansions?

How do you populate the ecosystem of your setting, /tg/?

Most fantasy settings have at least a handful of fantasy creatures in them, but many of those are predators, or at least big territorial herbivores-- things the PCs could interact with easily through battle. But what about the lower levels of the food chain? What might the party hunt and trap for dinner in the woods? What do the local farmers raise for food? Where do they get their milk, eggs, or equivalent animal byproducts?

Do you prefer settings where most of the ecosystem has fairly mundane animals like rabbits and deers and wolves alongside beasts like manticores and unicorns, or do you like settings where most animals have had their niches filled with new critters?

If you do have mundane animals, are they given a fantasy treatment? Certain traits or abilities, unusual appearances or coloration?

I've been thinking too much about fantasy ecology help

>as long as you're within the borders of this kingdom an adventurer must wear a suit of fully covering armor

>armors are individual and specially crafted to work for any class

>each adventurer is assigned a callsign rather than a name while in the kingdom

>only allowed to remove armors when off duty. it has openings to facilitate eating, drinking and other natural needs

>comes in all sizes and shapes for different races and sexes

What's everyone up to breachside?

I'm trying to put together a Lucius build for my first M2E crew. I played Leveticus back in the dark times of first edition, and never tried 1.5. How's this?

Lucius (Cache 4)
UPGRADE: Legalese -1
UPGRADE: Surprisingly Loyal -1
Cpt Dashel -9
The Scribe -2
Guild Lawyer -6
Guild Lawyer -6
Beckoner -7
Beckoner -7
Guild Rifleman -5
Guild Rifleman -5

49ss if I did the math right, mostly trying to build out of the starter box. Dashel and one lawyer stick close to the riflemen to provide buffs and keep those horror checks from Lucius under control. The beckoners and the second lawyer drag targets into (or out of) position. Lucius and the scribe enjoy a merry stroll shouting orders at people and occasionally rolling out the red tape.
