>>43354204It's possible you are being paranoid, but that doesn't mean it's not a red flag. Be aware, but don't flee just because of one red flag. Wait until like, the third. Fourth if you're feeling gutsy.
Try putting yourself in the GM's shoes. As you said, they're all left-leaning individuals. That means there's pressure on the GM to appeal to that in order to avoid looking like a bigot. In other words, he might not be a SJW, but he may be afraid of incurring the wrath of one. Remember, if everyone in the group leans left, then it produces an echo chamber effect--because nobody wants to disagree with the message and look like a bigot.
Now, if none of them are SJWs, then there should be no fear of that; they should be able to hold a rational discussion. But there is the possibility that they don't really know each other well enough to know if any of them are SJWs or not. One is all it takes to ruin the game. So we have a case of Schrodinger's SJW. Nobody knows whether or not someone's going to be offended or not, and nobody will know until that first step is taken, and none of them want to take the risk because they're varying degrees of leftists in a leftist environment.
Also, thanks for the bait, even if it wasn't on purpose. I kinda wondered how many SJWs would be posting on /tg/ and now I have a better idea.
