Contrary to popular belief I am not actually as short as Konata, and instead hover around the "merely below average" line for whatever species I am for the jump. So, like, for humans, I am maybe around five feet? Which is a height that real full grown women come in.

My hair isn't even blue unless the setting is particularly game-like or anime. In more "normal" settings, I tend to go with black. Y'know. Because it's normal.

Given my relative attractiveness due to perks and below average height, it's actually far more likely that I get mistaken for... a teenager. On a fairly frequent basis.
Which is something I am actually all too familiar with in real actual life. So it's mostly only annoying when I have to show my license at a bar or something.

It's just that I'm kindof married to this avatar now, really. And there's nothing better fitting, for that matter.

During SoA, I briefly defected from Valua to join Vyse, then betrayed them and ran off shortly after Ixataka, whereupon I stole the two Moon Crystals he had collected and threw them in my warehouse, never to be released.

Really pissed off Galcian that his plan stalled. And also Vyse. Took them a while to realize I wasn't on either of their sides.

But by that point I'd already fled to Dark Rift with the Black Moon Crystal.

You'd think the smart thing to do would be team up against me, but no. They didn't do that.

Perhaps, *perhaps*, in terms of raw energy output.

Otherwise, not a chance - the LoT is likely to have actual clockwork components, scribes who copy from computer onto parchment and then have birds deliver them to places, fires broadsides like it thinks it's wet in space, and relatively low levels of automation.

Making it an ACU may or may not change that.

Personally I wouldn't think it would just magically make all those problems go away so generously, especially as we know little of SC spacecraft (and it's very likely they use meatbodies anyway) - and ACU's have always retained the human element.

Instead it would probably just stick *better* - but not necessarily more *powerful* - weapons over it, massively improve its durability and let it spam custom ordnance and escort craft.

So its reaction times will still be human, so even if the LoT is as powerful as a GSV, the Mind is running 200,000x faster and with dominating efficiency.

It's no contest.

Hmm. Depends if it's actually a curse, rather than an unusual transmutation effect that the locals just call a curse. For the former, Remove Curse or Break Enchantment would work. For the latter, Break Enchantment or a Targeted Dispel would work, depending on the level of the effect.

The Springs are roughly minor artifacts? So the DC to beat for removing/breaking/dispelling would probably be around 30.

Their 4th level strike is one of the best 4th level strikes I have seen too. Above average d6s for its level, and no-save move an enemy 10 feet that provokes AOOs from everyone but the warder.

No, PoW full attacks are 'stupid' for the same exact reason every single other full attack is 'stupid', except with slightly larger numbers than some of the other full attackers but not all.

The numbers are too fucking huge in the first place compared to any single attack. And that's the whole fucking problem.

Even with vital strikes, the most you could get is 4x your base weapon's damage dice. To this you add 1x the static bonuses and extra damage dice. And that's for three feats here.

Static is the biggest part: by doubling static you've easily equalled the quad damage dice of nearly every weapon by high levels.

Then you add a third attack.

Then you add a fourth attack.

Then you add a fifth attack.

Then you add a sixth attack. Maybe even more.

At some point the difference in action economy was not just overtaken, but mercilessly crushed.

Lower full attack damage multiplier somehow (maybe half damage with every hit?) and improve the growth factor for vital strike's static and extra dice, and THEN with the new results you might be able to start working on actually balancing DPR versus enemy health.

While, of course, keeping in mind that those enemies are just one failed save away from being permanently eliminated, converted, assimilated, consumed, turned, brainwashed or otherwise won against.

Speaking of trouble, the whole binary system...

Last Episode: You came to Scylla to find some Hubris. What you found was your former guardian and his companions, fighting the People of Joy. You aided your associates by killing a couple, and Pytor’s group finished the rest.

The inside of the RV is a sight that makes you smile. It’s filled with salvage, weaponry, and all the other, familiar, comforting things that you like. Pytor and the others are cleaning and checking their weaponry. Amelia, the woman in the hazmat suit, immediately asked you about Emmy, so you told her.

“So Emily is heading back to Genesis on her own?” Amelia asks you.

You nod, as you help yourself to the contents of a can of water chestnuts. You really missed this.

Amelia lets out a sigh of relief, and shakes her head. “So I didn’t have to do anything. Wonderful.”

“Don’t act like you weren’t ordered too.” Pytor says.

“Heh.” Amelia says. “When did you figure it out?”

“From the start.” Pytor says.

“Of course you did.” Amelia says.

“Do you know what they’re talking about?” You ask Ray.

Ray shrugs.

“Alright. So, thank you for telling us about Emily.” Amelia says. “That’s a weight off of my chest at least. Did you learn anything else?”

Song of Swords is a realistic fantasy tabletop RPG that draws inspiration from historical fechtbuchs, weapons and armor. Its combat system is fun as balls and it can be used for both fantasy and historical/mundane settings.

Call of the Void is a pulpy sci-fi tabletop RPG about fighting space-nazis and hunting giant whales with harpoons made out of the moon. Ironically it also has a very realistic combat system based around modern firefights, and can handle mundane or magical settings.

Yes it can. Much like high winds can topple buildings and bridges. Granted that is if those currents move anywhere near as wind speed on the surface. Seeing that nearly all of the buildings in Rapture are made of stone, concrete, steel, and ultra tough glass that this might not be a problem. Again, we are just guessing. If anything, it's not the currents you need to worry about. It's the earth quakes.

Another element we need to keep in mind. Ryan built Rapture on the mid Atlantic ridge so he could tap into the nearly limitless geothermic power it generates. Not a bad idea there. You can't use fossil fuels/carbon based energy down there. Nuclear power could have been a possibility, but a damn risky one and even still it was limited availability even to Ryan. (there is only limited amounts of that to be had) so geothermal is the way to go and the serface world would never detect it.

The real danger here is that the mid Atlantic ridge is VERY geological active zone and major earth quakes occur here. If the buildings shatter or even fracture from one, everyone inside could die very quickly.

I've been trying to flesh these guys out more into a more full fighting force as well as trying to expand on the faction they're fighting for.

Though the only idea I've had so far for the internal culture of the Lancers sounds too much like space marines.
