>Setting where ayy lmaos created humans and later return.
>They try to destroy them.
How can you explain this in a way that makes sense? Pic mostly related.

Humanity and Chaos

No.43364453 ViewReplyReportDelete
Does have anybody noticed that Chaos only affects humans? I mean, there are dark eldars, yeah, but they don't worship chaos, they are just...living...And of course there are other minor specias like Larean that worshipped chaos gods but from the major forces of the universe, only humans get corrupted nowadays.

it Seems like the Imperium want to monopolize the right to become corrupted by chaos.

Hey, /tg/. I've decided to run a game for a bunch of first-timers. They play a lot of WoW and Dota so I thought you'd be more comfortable with DnD than my usual pretentious shit. I'm using 5e starter adventure and the players seem to be enjoying themselves. The problem is it's pretty bland for my taste. I want some cool weird crap in my warrion-on-ork action. What kind of interesting stuff can I dump of low level character. I've know the planes and lovecraftian monsters but it seems like all the interesting thing are for very experienced adventurers.

Legend of the Five Rings/L5R General: Lion Navy Edition

L5R general. If you haven't been to one in a while or have been out of the loop of the game, here's what you've missed:

>AEG sold the L5R property to Fantasy Flight Games.
>The last AEG made set for L5R is out for basically free now.
>FFG is going to be producing an L5R Living Card Game (rather than collectible), and probably a 5e for the RPG
>The LCG hits in 2017. The RPG probably after that
>No we don't know if they'll keep roll & keep or give into their snowflake dice addiction. Their handling of their 40k gamelines suggest the former, their crippling habit suggests the latter

Did I miss anything major?

>The elder demon the party wizard released hasn't taken physical form yet
>He can turn into a monster of blood and shadow and magic, but only temporarily
>He still needs a host for long term survival on the material plane
>He's possessing a 12 year old girl just entering puberty

>There is no banishment strong enough to remove all traces of him because her body is developing with him in it
>No god gives enough of a fuck to purify her either, they'd rather just off her and sort it out in the afterlife
>Leaving her as is will lead to her developing immense magical powers
>But the demon's mark will twist the hearts of those around her like The One Ring
>Eventually she will succumb to his intent as everyone else turns against her

>Paladin falls and becomes a blackguard
>Evil god cuts the elder demon a check for the good contractor work

If GW somehow got the rights to Malal, would /tg/ run a Chaos/Daemon army based on him?

I am going to DM campaign about Mages. Not the magical schoolgirl with 20 charisma and bending kind.
But about 50 year old senior wizards. All the players are experts in a certain field of magic, none however are able to cast a fireball spell at will but all of them together can make you a machine that produces fireball casting ovens, given enough time and resources: we have the artificer, transmuter, enchanter, alchemist, bureaumancer and the economist, all are part of the ABB guild that is currently trying find a new project and is risking getting bought up a a bigger guild such as the Eriksons guild. The annual Sigil phylactery-artifact fair is coming up and this is their last chance to find a client. Shall they fail and get bought up, they will either be relocated to the orient or go back to teach apprentices at the academy.
Is there any novels or movies that I could draw inspiration from as a DM?

METAL QUEST

Christmas two years ago, your parents bought you your very first guitar. It was an Ibanez Destroyer. Let's face it, at first you sucked -- but you practiced, to your parents' dismay, for nearly six hours a day. Through all the blood and sweat, missed meals and nights spent awake playing with headphones, you've mastered the arpeggios, the modes, the scales, and eventually you found your calling. While browsing through a record store one day, you came across an album. From that day forward, your life has been all about experiencing the glory of...

>Doom Metal
>Death Metal

>Pirate Metal
>Symphonic Metal
