A thread to talk about the Cardgame, meta, decks and of course answer questions.
>Anything new in the TCG?
Dimensions of Chaos is arriving early november, Master of pendulum too. Breakers of shadow are coming this January and will be full of meta changing cards so it will be a big thing.
Frequently asked questions
>I have played his game in the past, how is it now?
Nothing is the same, game is a way faster and more complex, fusions, synchros, xyz and pendulum, the last 2 are currently the best but support is made for all
>How can I learn the game?
Best way it by watching the anime yugioh arc-v and learning the basics, then maybe testing out some decks against AI in ygopro and then slowly start building and testing decks against human opponents.
>How do i become good in this game
LOSE, the only way to learn to play this game well is by playing and obviously losing to people who know how to play it. Slowly you ll learn about how game mechanics work, how the meta works and how to counter it, how a good deck works and what it needs. Also always play matches instead of singles since a major part of yugioh's strategy comes from the side deck.
Feel free to ask questions here if you are unsure about something or if ygopro didnt let you do something you thought you could 97% of the time it is some ruling you lost and not a bug
>Where can i play this for free with all the cards
1)Ygopro
This is an automated program simulator that lets you play with all the cards for free, it is advised for anyone wanting to learn the game since it will show you how the game works and what you can and cant do
2)Dueling network
Flash based browser simulator but since everything is manual and considering the complexity of yugioh, a lot of illegal moves go unnoticed because DN doesnt stop them and they dont learn the game correctly, not adviced for new players
3)There are more like devpro or salvation but arent adviced due to issues they have
