Hey fa/tg/uys, fa/tg/uy with serious case of flu here. (and lots of time on his hands)

Can you please recommend me some gritty-er movies to watch? Stuff that is not along Jurassic world or average summer blockbuster flick?

So far I watched Mad Max Fury road, Sicario, District9 and True Detective (first series), but I have hard time finding some more good stuff.

Carpenters The Thing would be perfect if I did not watch it already. Actually, I think i might just see it again.
