Looking for your thoughts, /tg/
I'm going to be running a new campaign in a few weeks. I've been running games on and off for 15 years, and my group is pretty experienced (perhaps even slightly jaded). What I am looking for is a few relatively simple ways to enhance the atmosphere/overall quality of my game. One suggestion I have heard for atmosphere is some carefully selected background music/noise or well-placed sound effects. Another GM I know records audio for all of his games as a reference.
tl;dr- What are your little tricks as a GM to enhance the atmosphere/overall quality of your games?
