Ah, high school!

The greatest place in the world, for some more than others.

it's the first day of school, your junior year. After your dad got a job at some big pharmaceutical(or something like that) company, your family uprooted from sunny California to live in Bumfuck, Colorado. At least he bought you a new car, making up for it a bit.

You eat a quick breakfast of Honey Nuts, then grab your keys from the key rack. Driving through the pine forest lined roads, a piece of orange streaks between the trees. You're drive to fast, however, and make little notice of it. Probably some hunter, looking for a deer.

You park in the large parking lot, staring up at the school. Three stories of imposing brickwork, separated into three wings. Glass eyes wink in the cool mountain air, puncturing the brick with wooden frames and plate glass. A large map in the parking lot, in a waterproof glass case, shows that there is a field at the intersection of the three wings. Holy shit, they even have an indoor pool!

You enter the quad, the large field, then go straight into the middle wing. The word "NORTH" is over the entrance, mirrored by "WEST" and "EAST" on the other two wings in bronze letters. Following a map your mom shoved into your backpack, you navigate to the school's office. An woman with brown hair looks up from her desk, a question forming on her lips.
