>>43257182I posted it a bit ago. Short version, under house arrest, got jumped by a political enemy trying to assassinate me. (I kinda dared her to.) They made a simply DREADFUL mistake though, because while I'm not very good at politics, I'm very good at fighting. Even when wearing shackles. They stabbed me a bunch, I beat them to within a hair's breadth of unconsciousness. They jumped off my balcony, I followed- I got wings after all, and I was raging. Definitely wasn't keen on letting someone get away from me.
Well, I knocked her out. Then realized I was too injured and exhausted to properly fly back up to my balcony.
And my room was on the side of a castle, over a sheer cliff of a chasm. It was also literally a blizzard outside at the moment.
I managed to glide down, splash into a frigid river, crawl my way out, assassin captive in tow (she's actually a fairly prestigious local lord.)
So soaked, bleeding, and freezing to death, I desperately tried to find shelter, dug a little snow cave, searched her body and stripped her of useful things (and clothes, to bind my wounds,) and then slowly succumbed to the cold as I tried to huddle up with her unconscious body for warmth.
I then proceeded to wake up three days later, in a luxurious bed in a very palatial apartment- even better than what I'd been in under house arrest- and that was that.
Don't know what happened, who found us, or how many toes and fingers I lost.
All in all, 10/10. Things are exciting and happening.
