My part delved through the underdark as mercenaries, ended up working there too.
Came out, killed a lich on pure luck and gained titled lands out of it.
We go to build on these lands and they are pisspoor and w/e but it's enough.
we'd killed a nasty sorcerer who had a sleeping dragon. Turns out it was a pet/slave. It wasn't sure how it felt about it's master being slain when it found us on the way back, so we managed to convince it to be allies.
>Oh, you plus 15 diplomacy checks on a nat 20Well, now everyone starts denouncing us (because our architect told on us i guess?)
A few more adventured and we've
befriended a red dragon, mature size younger age.
Have an alliance with him and his fire giant slave army.
Have a trade agreement with smugglers.
Have a temple to Urgathoa
Have clerics of other evil gods
Have a retinue of deathknights loaned to us
Have the biggest shining of good at our doorstep
Have murdered the princess(accidentally)
Have the noble next door raving mad
and so so much more.
Best campaign.
