Does anyone else look at pictures and consistently go, 'Hey, that gives me an idea for a plot/character'?
And not just a general idea, but a fully formed story.

So here's one I got from a drawthred a while ago:

Alina, the youngest daughter of Emperor, was always a tomboy. And while her father was renowned as one of the firmest Emperors in history, he nonetheless had a massive soft spot for his children.
Despite it being considered inappropriate for a girl, he indulged her desire to play legionaire, even having a suit of armour made for her.
Of course, she needed other children to 'command', and of the nobles of the Imperial City were only too keep to let their kids join the 'junior legion'. Being friends with the Emperor's daughter could only lead to good things.

'Battles' were held in the palace grounds, with Alina commanding her playmates against legionares who had been ordered to lose.

She and the other children were schooled in tactics by a recently retired general, and the positions she appointed them to eventually became real rank in the Imperial legions.

And thus a new tradition was founded, of the Junior Legion being the training ground for future commanders of the legions, and a group that many noble parents would fight tooth and nail to get their children into.
