How would one design campaigns/quests revolving around the caretaking of either an infantile or elderly dragon?

For real though a campaign taking care of an elderly dragon could be great. It could be political intrigue or dealing with dragon senility, which can't be a good thing to see.

Could go for a tragedy angle to it. On the dragon's lucid days it is a caring mentor figure to the party, if a bit saddened by the knowledge it's life is ending. On its bad days, it's prone to delusions and memory lapses that make it a danger to itself and others.
Especially you.
And there are more and more bad days as time goes.
Dealing with losing someone to dementia over time might be close to the bone depending on player's family lives though.

There could also events between encounters where the dragon is passing on its knowledge to the party or maybe it's having heart burn and it accidentally a town or camp with it's breath weapon. You know, little moments that help strengthen the bond between the two entities.

As for an actual proper baby dragon in a campaign, I have seen it done a few ways. In one instance it was the pet/mascot of the party. In another their were abandoned baby dragons, the party decided to sell it with the one egg. The parents were not very pleased.

Because it's in korean. Look up Oddsquad's Overtooning script, it'll translate the webcomic up to however many they've translated (~40 I believe so far) automagically. Don't use some parasite site like mangafox/mangahere that just steals scanlations and slap their watermarks, go directly to the source here >>43271354

Depends on your setting and interpretation. I like parse that "Always CE" as *theoretically* yes, but in practice, haha, ha, no.

Generally yes to all of those, AFAIK.

Wild horses are about as friendly as wild wolves or wild hippos, their bites can sever fingers and their kicks can crush your skull.

It takes a brave and experienced person to capture a wild horse. If they could fly and breathe fire and swallow men whole, it would be considered suicide, and they would be considered untameable.

Yeah. If you search the archive for Hoard of the Dragon Queen you'll find a lot of discussions people have had about what to do when their players decide to keep the eggs.

Unfortunately, black dragons in the forgotten realms are innately Chaotic Evil. The odds of this ending well for anyone are low.

Blue dragons (at least by D&D) are extremely social.
They take good care of their hatchlings. They live in hierarchical packs. (Not very dense ones, but I guess if you like desert, it's easy...) They tend to not only keep in contact with each other, and acknowledge or aspire to some kind of suzerainty among their own kind, but to hold human minions and vassals of their own.
