A quick trip through the mirror portals to the second layer of hell with Ayla is all it takes to get to the outpost Tslah administrates for you. The population of demons here seems to be a bit more rowdy than those in the first layer, but you can sense that in general they will obey Tslah. You pick up the sense of a few stronger demons that are drastically wounded, their suffering a reminder to others to not attempt taking Tslah.

The outpost’s modest palace, or rather once modest it is now decorated with significant amounts of gold and jewels - a clear indication of the tribute that is extracted from the demons. The consensus in the minds of the demons is that this is good that the strong should do such things.

Inside you encounter the demon that placed herself into servitude, her claws slide against each other in irritation when she sees you. Even if you are strong, she doesn’t like that you ignored Tslah’s request.

“Yess, come with me, I will take you to my queen,” the long necked demon tells you, and leads you to a sitting room, “my queen will be here to meet with you shortly. I trust need nothing else.”

She leaves you alone to wait for Tslah, you could go and find her but from what you can see in her thoughts it is best not to. She is currently bathing in blood. When her servant tells her you have arrived, she hurries things along and rinses the blood off of herself so as not to offend your human sensibilities.

Ayla entertains herself by playing catch with some elemental creatures she summoned. She took a purple fruit from a tray of food an imp carried into the room shortly after your arrival. The fruit is used as a ball and it is badly scorched by the fire elemental, thankfully Ayla also summoned a water elemental to extinguish any fires that her game causes.

You pass the time by reading up on the completed status of Hestia’s construction project.
