"Morning, Gotham," says a cheerful voice on the television. His white face, red lips, and green hair make him immediately recognizable.
"You know folks," he says thoughtfully. "I've been thinking- we've not had any real quality time together in a while, have we? You've been spending all your time with those hip young kids, but you've not left any time for dear old Joker."
He puts his hand on his heart. "It pains me."
"And you were all so impressed by their little lightshow, too, while I've been working so hard to please you. See, all they did was throw up a sign and put out a petting zoo. I've been toiling away all over town, though- and you see it every day, and don't even notice."
He holds up a glass of water, and takes a sip.
"I worked hard making sure the riverwater was contaminated in just the right ways so it passed through filtration. What was REALLY tough, though, was the groundwater. But I guess nobody pays attention to crop dusters. You were all too busy mashing up my Laughing Vegetables. And they were so cute, too!
He leans forwards.
"And I've got a message for you two brats." He holds up three fingers. "You'll be here in three days. On my doorstep. And then we can talk it out. Man to Man. To Man to man to man to man! HAHAHAHAHA!"
