Our last group pic, the last big battle, which we decicively won.
So Emil died. He died when he turned around to reclaim his homeland that Votrik had turned to rebel against him. He died in a river, from appendicitis, his Empire crumbling, not only at home but also in the mountains, where Vitun returned back to and swiftly seceded.
He left behind an army and us, as his generals, who we had varying degrees of loyality to him, and an ally in Korto, who will keep his legacy alive in these lands so far away from home, now christened 'Emilia' in his honour.
We had a post-game epilogue to decide what would happen with our characters, their kingdoms, their new acquisitions, how the Votrik-incident would be resolved and all that good stuff, and all in all, this game has completely succeeded in it's goal to be solid world building, has it fucking ever.
It's my turn to GM now, and I'll have to advance the timeline a good eighthundred years, so that'll be great fun with the foundation laid in this game.
I'm going to attach a bit of a zoomed in look with a second post to give context to the names.
