hey /tg/
i wanted to try Bolt Action but some friends suggested that Chain of Command is a much better option. What is your take on COC ? do you need many miniatures to play? is it a good system ?

as far as games go, it has it's place. but let me just lay it out for you in facts:

best thing about the game is the recon-set-up phase and the dicing for actions, though it can accidentally drag on and unbalance like a motherfucker.

it's a good game, but it's not for a casual gamer NOR is it for hardcore simulators...

Dogs of War is nice...the world is filled with systems, and it depends how small you mean to go...
i dunno if T2K ever had a WWII mod, but it's small scale enough it's a fuckign roleplay game you can skirmish wargame with.
