- Trick Weapon :
When you take this Hunter's Tool, you gain the effects of wielding a shield (+2 AC) without carrying one while wielding it in one hand.
You can only benefit from one shield at a time.
As a bonus action, you can switch your Trick Weapon into a two-handed form. In this form, it gains the properties of a two handed slashing weapon.
Shortsword/Longsword (1d6/1d8) --> Greatsword (2d6)
Battleaxe (1d8) --> Greataxe (1d12)/Halberd (1d10)
Saw (1d6) --> Cleaver (1d10, Heavy, Two Handed, Reach, Finesse)
Scimitar (1d6) --> Scythe (1d12, Heavy, Two Handed, Reach, Finesse, Disadv. at 5ft)
While wielding a Trick Weapon in two hands, you are unable to use any other Hunter's Tools
- Hunter's Blunderbuss :
15 foot cone in front of the Witch Hunter, Con save to avoid being blinded. Targets within 5 feet Con save to avoid being stunned.
You cannot stun the same creature twice during the same combat.
- Hunter's Pistol :
Whenever an opponent makes an attack against you or an ally, you may use a reaction to make an opposed initiative check with said opponent.
If your roll is higher, the opponent is Stunned. If your opponent's roll is higher, the enemy's attack is treated as a critical hit?
This tool may not be used multiple times on the same enemy.
- Flamethrower :
15 foot cone in front of the Witch Hunter, Dex save to avoid on demand Burning Hands I guess. (3d6, scales at some point)
- Messengers :
The Witch Hunter gains the ability to use the Sending spell equal to their Wisdom modifier per long rest.
