It bugs me that the fluff has them putting all that shit and arkadius modifications on the battleboar and it's all just to train them faster. It doesn't even improve their stats in any way.

It only takes a couple of weeks to train a battleboar to begin with in the fluff.

I have a 3 list event next week and Im thinking eGaspy, Gaspy3 and pDenny will be my line up. The liches I got down as far as match ups I think, but I've never fielded denny before so I'm not sure what to drop her into. I had an epiphany the last farrow game I played.

Brigands suck.

They suck with Carver, they suck with Helga, they aren't even worth considering with any other caster, they suck with their UA.

At this point the faction is good enough to not take brigands. So don't.

Is the presence of WH waning in your area? X wing has eaten up all of our market share in my store... and what remains isnt very pleasant to play against (ExMtG crowd, just not very fun unless I want to play against a supercomputer all the time)

We had a huge surge of Trollbloods players last year, but the players seemed to have all gone except for one guy.

This might be it boys. I might be done with WARMAHORDES. Was a good run chaps! ;_;7

If anything, GW killing off Warhammer Fantasy has caused our Warmachine group to swell pretty substantially. There hasn't really been any great interest in X-Wing here either.

CoC is a "special" faction, it will probably never get new releases and fall off, it's not BAD but it's pretty boring until you have mastered the 3 lists they have for tourney shitting(Axis spam, Syntherion tier, Lucant block) and the 2-3(Aurora in general, mother tier) lists they have for funsies.

Those suck, if youre not hardcore WAAC it'd be fine.

Avoid Minions entirely, they're way too hard to play for a new player unless you're some kind of wargaming savant.
Avoid Convergence of Cyriss (CoC) unless you're aware of what you're getting yourself into, which is essentially a mini-faction that is going to play more or less the same three lists from now until eternity.

Way too broad of a question without knowing what faction you want to play. Narrow it down then we'll talk.

About a year ago, there was a surge of interest in Warmahordes, but it lasted about the length of the Journeyman League, I think.

I've been GMing an Iron Kingdoms game for my friends the past couple of weeks, and it's gotten me interested in playing Warmahordes itself again, once I'm more financially capable. I've got a small Cygnar force right now

>Gun Mages
>Gun Mage Officer
>Black 13th (You can see a theme here)
>Long Gunners

If I do get back into Warmahordes, it'll probably be Circle, Cryx, or Legion. Although I may stick with Cygnar for a while longer, throw in Lieutenant Allister Caine and an appropriate warjack or two, and stick with my Gun Mage focus, since I do adore them (and are a large part of the reason why I chose Cygnar).

I can agree that I wish there were "Your Guy Here" options for Warcasters/Warlocks. I do like the post in the "Your Dudes" section of the OP where PP encourages players to customize the models of established characters for your own guys, but a little customization would be nice.

And actually, part of what made me lose interest in Warmahordes was that I was pretty much the only one that gave two shits about the lore. Everyone else was all about the mechanics, which is all well and good, I'm not going to disparage them for that; they play their way, I play my way, but part of what made 40k so fun for me was talking to my friends about the fluff, such as theories and favorite characters/factions, and our custom armies. I couldn't really get that with Warmahordes, especially since, at the time, the friends I like to talk fluff with weren't interested in Warmahordes.

However, now that I have a group of friends going through Iron Kingdoms with me, I may have a chance to build up some interest in the lore, which is a core aspect to me getting interested in just about anything in a fantasy/sci-fi setting.

(The other reason was because the Journeyman league was pretty much my first time playing, and I usually get burned out with tournament stuff pretty quick. Mainly because, to me, it stops feeling like a game and more like a job, because I'm obligated to attend things and play people, instead of doing it in a more casual setting. It's just not my thing.)

I adore it. The combination of aspects from both steampunk and magitech, while still retaining a somewhat classic fantasy feel, is great, and I really like all of the factions and races in it.

I wish Iron Kingdoms had as much fiction available as 40k, since that's what got me interested in Warhammer, and about the only aspect I care about now except for the RPGs. I tried reading the first novel in the Llael war trilogy, but something about the way it's written really turns me off.

Yeah, and I can get that. There's certainly no shortage of lore, either. Hell, each army book has more lore in them than 40k codexes (and better written), which I have to give them credit for.

Still, even if it's just a a few books per development of the official storyline would make me happy. Just so long as they get a good author for them. The novel I read felt like someone in PP wanted to give their inexperience nephew a foot into the publishing business.

Cygnar and Khador both seem to lean on the "light" side of things, as far as I've noticed. Khador closer to grey, what with being expansionists, but they treat those they conquer fairly well, and can even improve things. They made Llael considerably better.

Hell, even the Circle surprised me. When I read deeper into their lore, I understood that they weren't just a bunch of angry stone-throwers that hate civilization, but are instead just trying to curb it out of fear of the Devourer Wurm destroying the world, and not simply opposed to civilization because it offends their deity.

But still, any of the "grey" factions in Warmahordes are still much more on the lighter end than anything in 40k.

Besides not being a Character how is she really that different? She can only take lessers, but Una can only take ones with flight and the Troll dude also has limited battlegroup of some sort. She's got 4 fury, 2 spells and even field Marshal. Even the Draconic Consort rule is almost identical to the lesser warlock rule just that it has her limited battlegroup aspect already written in.

Convergence just want access to a bunch of geomantic nodes all over the world, some which happen to be in counties that would get upset if a bunch of robots set up so in their borders. Once they collect them all they want to manifest their goddess so their souls don't get wrecked in the afterlife, since Cyriss is some sort of weird space god and is not actually in Urcaen.

The Hordes one is SUPER worth it.

The Warmachine one is good for learning the game, but in the long run you'll probably end up not using most of the stuff in it in serious games.

Sorscha1 threatens great attrition and assassination with her feat and spell list.
Sorsha2 threatens pretty good attrition and some pretty fucking hilarious armor cracking with her feat.
Either way, I would recommend getting Sylis and Reinholdt for her, shit get's pretty fun.

Pigs are on an upswing. Battle Boar has a lot to offer to Carver and Drang, and Splatter Boar is one of the better light beasts in the game, to the point that as soon as it is released every current non-ark list will need to be reconfigured to include it (and people will probably try to fit it into the ark too, though that's probably a mistake).

Cygnar can't crack armor
Retribution can't crack armor
Cryx... well is Cryx
Skorne can't really handle control
Legion (mostly) can't tank for shit
Circle can't stop getting good stuff
Trolls can't memorize more than 3 lists
Protectorate can't stop playing Harby
Khador can't stop whining
Convergence can't get releases

Some of these are meant seriously.

I don't really agree with this. Most of the Legion beasts aren't much squishier than circle beasts. Since you always run beast heavy with them and they got a lot of good defensive buffs their lists tend to actually be pretty beefy.

Legions bigger issue is being outnumbered. If the enemy has some units and is smart to spread them out so they don't die to AoEs/sprays/Scytheans you can put some heavy scenario pressure on them.

Most of the exemplar are fanatically loyal rank and file soldiers. Their orders have a specific tenet where nothing that they do is a sin if a scrutator told them to do it just so that they can do really dark horrible shit.

Voyle elevated the exemplar over the paladins during his reign over the protectorate specifically because they didn't have those pesky 'principles' and 'morality' to get in the way, the exemplar code is all about obedience and that's what he wanted in soldiers.

Kreoss is a zealous crusader, but distinctly different because he is willing to go against those of higher authority if fellow Menites or innocents are threatened. He and Reznik have butted heads on several occasions where Kreoss refused and even threatened to fight Reznik due to the latter having orders to butcher an entire village of Menites for some perceived heresy.

Anson Durst is a paladin that pretty much only fights to do the right thing. Even if the right thing is aiding your former enemies turned temporary allies against the orders of your religions pope, he will rush to help the wayward heathen souls. Because "it's whats right in the eyes of Menoth."

As already said theme lists don't work in +100pt games. But +100pt games have so called unbound rules that kind of work like theme bonuses. You can find those in the Colossal/Gargantuan books for the casters that were already out at that point. I think newer casters get Unbound rules in No Quarter.

We know what works and what doesn't. We are at the point where the game is pretty much solved. We know what units werk before they even hit the table now. I loved everything MKII brought into the game except the players, but I'd like to think its a generational thing more than anything.

Crusaders and Templar especially.

This is not entirely correct.

The Convergence wants to build gigantic facilities to link all of Caen's geomantic nodes together and then use the power in the linked geomantic nodes to bring Cyriss to Caen. Once Cyriss is close enough she will come to inhabit the world-machine.

This is problematic for a few reasons. First of all Cyriss is a planet, and two planets in close proximity may be bad. Second, Caen is the body of Orboros and as such is already inhabited by a pair of gods: the Wurm and Dhunia. Finally, other factions have already laid claim to some if not all geomantic nodes inside their borders: the Circle, Ios, and the Protectorate (accidentally).

Additionally, the Convergence doesn't fear Urcaen the way some other factions do. They see their afterlife as being put in robots and most living members of the Convergence have no greater aspiration than to have their soul put into a robot. They want to bring Cyriss to Caen because they love her and want to be near to her.

Pretty much like an untransformed one, just usually with sharper teeth, possibly a slightly more bestial facial structure and their nails are more clawlike.

Most pictures of female tharn in the Orboros forces book and the like are most likely them in their tranformed state.

Female tharn don't hulk out like the males. Instead, they become supernaturally quick, agile and stealthy. They also gain supernaturally enhanced senses.

Not really. They have better insurance than most since their robot shells let them swap out their souls if the body is damaged, but if your soul container gets crushed during battle or you're a human worshiper and die you go to Urcaen like everyone else.

Unlike most people though, a worshiper of Cyriss has no protection in Urcaen since they have no god to protect them and Cyriss has no power there. It's one of the reasons Axis is starting to lose his shit more than usual. Despite being powerful and a warcaster he might get passed up for the clockwork vessel since he's too unstable mentally. He's in his 40s as well, barely eats or sleeps, and he's a frontline fighter. He's trying to prove he's worth saving before he croaks and has his soul reamed.

Ehhhh. "Amazing" is a bit much.

While I agree that Stormblades are undervalued I wouldn't say they're amazing. I would say Stormblades are good with some casters and can help their armor problem in said lists.

I.E. Haley 2 and 3 can keep them safe enough to be useful. The Strykers seem to have synergy with them. Caine 1 CAN run them.

That said, they are definitely flawed. They're expensive as hell. They die in droves to any kind of shooting. Anything that can keep them safe or speeds them up sufficiently helps them but otherwise the enemy will just shoot them to death before they get a chance.

Storm Lances are a bit more reliable because of speed and I personally think Stormguard are underrated as well. They are expensive and die easy as well though. P+S 12 Reach unit with CMA is pretty good dmg output though. I think they could be cool in the right lists.

Yeah everything can get shot to death but not every unit is as expensive with such a short threat range. Stormblades are a combination of fragile and slow that makes them hard to deliver in most armies. Their DMG output is amazing but, also not great enough to offset their cost IMO.

For instance, Doom Reavers have a similar problem except they are actually faster, have reach and AD. Most of them die on the approach but, even if 2 or 3 of them make it, their dmg output is sufficient enough to make it worthwhile. Stormblades have a problem doing that.

Average result on 3 dice is 10, and the Stormblades are swinging at dice minus 12 against a closed up clamjack. So, you're looking at dice spikes just to put ANY damage on the thing. Realistically, though, stormblades aren't doing much of anything to a closed up clam. But that's kind of the point of clamjacks.

That said, it CAN be done. It would take at least 4 charging stormblades to kill a closed clamjack. And that's if each one rolled all 6's on damage and rolled perfectly for the columns necessary to take out the arm systems in as little damage as possible.

Given right circumstances was my stipulation. They are pow 15 given leader bonus, add in Ragman, and harm and they are boosted pow 19s. High end of average being 11. A lot of moving parts but not implausible. Besides, cracking a Devastator is a ridiculous task for even the hardest hitting models in the game.

The fluff was what attracted me to the setting way back when it was the Witchfire Trilogy, and while it took me awhile to warm up to the wargame version of the fluff the whole "Steampunk+WarCraft" vibe of it (oversized everything, epic heroes everywhere, weird humor) hooked me.

Cygnar is basically the only faction where every single one of it's Warcasters are genuinely decent people. Stryker went pretty extreme there a long while back now, but it took crazy ISIL-style war atrocities from the Protectorate to do it, and then he got over it.
As a faction Cygnar has lots of good people but is internally corrupt since a significant amount of it's aristocracy seem to be basically conspiring against the King, who is without a doubt the nicest ruler in the setting (which actually is a mild problem with him).

Khador is more neutral; they build infrastructure in places but only after killing half of it's population and leveling everything mind you, and it's got maybe three Warcasters who are okay people at heart, and even then two of them get kind of questionable about the stuff they do. I never advanced beyond the battle box and a Steelkeg Protector a friend got for me, but I still bust the faction book out give it a read.

Also Cryx are probably closer to steampunk borg, and even then that's a stretch.

I don't even play the wargame (there were way too many complete assholes to play with at my local game store and I have zero modeling ability or patience with painting), but I still bought the rulebooks for the fluff, especially when IKRPG came out and it used a similar system.

I know in theory you're not supposed to draw too many comparisons between the wargame and RPG, but when the stats for the Totem Hunter is basically copy-pasted I feel comfortable with reusing most of the units and altering then slightly.

Same with the Retribution and their belief that the prominence of human magic is what's killing Scyrrah. Ambiguity like that helps the setting feel alive, I think, and speculation on them is what makes the lore fun for me. Same with 40k.

Incidentally, the Circle's mission and the Devourer Wurm are a core part of my Iron Kingdoms campaign.

Cephalyx weren't really common knowledge prior to the current engagements with Cryx. They mostly kept to themselves in hidden underground warrens and complexes. They only ventured to the surface in order to grab "personnel" and they mostly went after out of the way settlements on the fringes of civilization and weren't keen on letting witnesses get away. Reports of Cephalyx and info on them was rare to say the least. They were basically bogeymen.

It's not until recently with the Cephalyx/Cryx alliance that they've begun being seen in any force on the surface.

He's also increasingly tied up with dealing with his own corrupt aristocracy, so the CRS actually has to use Caine and guys like him to solve that problem since half are treasonous and support Vinter "I Can Beat Literally Anyone In A Fight" Raelthorne, his brother.

I mean she DOES have policies that do that in theory, but really everything is because she's a power-hungry egoist and everything that makes Khador more prosperous makes her more powerful.

Seacat has repeatedly brought up that no faction REALLY has the full picture, metaphysically speaking but all have bits and pieces of it.
The Retribution has the most circumstantial evidence for their beliefs as he pointed out, but since like 80% of their army is basically just using the faction as a way to score Iosan political points this is to be expected.

Oh, and before I forget; Madrak Ironhide is basically Thrall.
He's a rational and reasonable leader who has ties to the humans and who wants what's best for his people and is willing to fight for it but would rather not senselessly butcher other species out of racist superiority and wields a weapon of great spiritual significance to his people he took up during a time when his people were lost and rudderless.
He even throws Rathrok like Thrall throws the Doomhammer.

Though admittedly Rathrok has some...negative side-effects while the Doomhammer is just a powerful weapon.

Okay, go look up her second tier. It lets her take Vanguards, and increases the FA on everything Kayazy by 1. So you field two full units of Assassins+UA, and 3 units of Eliminators. You charge one of the kayazy with her to get extra movement, and she won't hit him. You feat and catch their whole army with it. They now lose a turn. Then you run your Kayazy to set up next turn to murder-face-fuck whatever target you want to BEHIND THEIR LINES.

He's the Coleman Stryker of Hordes; heroic hero guy who wants the best for his people and then works his way through a moral conundrum, goes edgelord for awhile, redeems himself later.
Madrak hasn't gotten to the redeem part yet but presumably he will once he gets his third model, just like Stryker.

....come to think of it, while I like the FLUFF of the setting, the actual PLOT is balls, what with them feeling the need to show the illusion of progression without anything actually changing.

Much like Chris Metzen's fluff (yet another Warcraft parallel) everything is somebody talking about how some character has immense cosmic power and then said person showing it by mostly getting into a silly WWF smackdown where nothing conclusive happens or alternatively arbitrarily winning because the plot demands it.

So....fluff cool, plot bad, I guess?
Hordes is hit especially hard with this.
The Skorne alone are so staggeringly retarded that you have to wonder how they managed to create a society in the first place.

they have a lower melee threat range than manowar and are infinitely easier to kill. They cost the same as bane thralls and hit as hard, but are a thousand times harder to apply thanks to the lack of stealth and tough. Arcane shield wont save them from much other than blast damage, the only caster that can speed up the whole unit is constance blaize and until haley 3 arrived the only def buff that helped them against melee attacks was the piper.

Dont get me wrong, I like them and are using them in a tournament this weekend, but Im doing so by using them as second line troops in a dudeswarm list and I expect them to take significant losses, they are expensive guys being screened by more expensive guys, like a pskarre list except I'm trading survivability for assault with rat 5 guns on all my guys and a caster that can independantly scare the bejeesus out of any model in the game.

Haha, so I decided to take a look at the heights of the various races for fun and I noticed the Efaarit are short as fuck.

Males are 3,5'' to 4,5'' and the women 3,1'' to 3,5''. They're even shorter than Pygs and Dwarfs and just 12 inches taller than Gobbers.
I always saw them as these badass desert nomads but now all I can think of are Jawas from Star Wars and I can't take them serious anymore.

This is simply false. The Iron Kingdoms were a Setting for D20 rules first and then they made the wargame out of it. And if you actually take a look at the amount of background details the setting has in the Iron Kingdom RPG, of which most has absolutely no effect on the actual Wargame, it's easly to see that some people at PP put a lot of love and work into the setting. They just seem to be really fucking shit at writing any good story with it.

There's a pretty big difference between "the setting is only a vehicle for a wargame" and "the wargame comes first". Of course WarmaHordes will always be the bigger focus. That doesn't stop them from regularly releasing more background information and adding more depth to the setting.
The whole problem is that besides these super shallow "these two characters from that faction and those two characters from that facion run into each other, they fight for some retarded reason, lots of shit dies, somebody kind of won, but nothing actually happened" stories in the Warmahordes book there pretty much not doing anything with the setting. If they made something with it, like a decent story or a video game about a group mercenaries in Llael, the setting could really flex it's muscles. But PP seems to be of the opinion "it's an RPG, you make the story!". And I can't get a group interested in playing the damn RPG since they either think the rules are to shallow or are more interested in playing warmahordes.

As I stated before, a lot of the more religiously inclined factions seem to have absolute certainty that they know what will happen and what is best for themselves, when each of them has glaring holes in their belief systems that completely fail to explain some pretty serious things that actively and directly affect their current world.

Amusingly the most zealous faction of all, the Protectorate, doesn't have this problem because they for the most part genuinely DON'T CARE about the gaps in beliefs.
Their goals are to convert every human who isn't Menite into a Menite and/or set everyone who isn't on fire, so they don't really need to explain where dragons come from or how they fit into the Wurm/Menoth thing or where the Rhulfolk come from or the Iosan deities or anything; they just need to set them on fire.
Gotta admit, there's a sort of elegance in their simplicity.

Grayle is agreed to be pretty bad. All others are somewhere between good and excellent.

The Arguses are pretty bad. Aside from them, the beasts are all good, depending on what they are used with. The Stalker and the Gorax are probably the best combination to start out with.

Shifting stones are crazy good. Reeves are pretty bad (or so I've heard; nobody plays them). Everything else is usable, especially with Morvhana1/2.
>Which solos are good/bad?
I can't really think of bad ones. The Wilder and Blackclad are probably the best for their utility.

In this game you usually don't take stuff that's good (like in a certain other wargame), but stuff that works well together. Tell us which warlock you are interested in and we can tell you more.

Usually, 1/3 of the table should be covered in terrain.

Without a single doubt Morvhana2 (aka Morvhana the Dawnshadow). She usually takes 1-3 beasts and fills the list with infantry. She can also make ANY in-faction (= not minions) infantry shine. She plays a strong attrition game and has a really interesting self-damaging/self-healing mechanic. Figuring out the intricacies that make her game run smoothly willt ake you some time, but I don't see why you couldn't start out with her. She also rides a goat.

Other units you may find a use for are:

I'd recommend holding off on these units though for a bit. Druids are very good at utility, but expensive and tricky to use. Skinwalkers are walls of meat and not a lot else, and wolfriders are flankers and skirmishers. Bloodtrackers and Stones are going to be in almost every list, so definitely get those first.

Actually, probably not.
The Retribution who is actually devoted to the religious cause don't actually think that killing all human mages will work, because in effect they would need to stop human mages from being BORN, which would require the extinction of the human race as Seacat himself notes, and they simply don't have the numbers or resources to ever accomplish that.

What the Retribution is about is specifically that; retribution, as in avenging a crime that is already done, in this case what the Iosans who work with it to be the inevitable extinction of their species.
Basically on some level the Retribution knows that nothing they do would ACTUALLY save Ios (though many hood for a miracle...they just have no idea what kind), but they're angry enough to kill as many human beings and mages as possible to make them pay for their perceived crimes against the elves.

There's a group of the Fane if Scryah called The Seekers who have left Ios in search of an answer to that question.
They refuse to believe in Retribution's "well if we can't win we might as well burn the world with us" viewpoint and instead look to the magics and lore of other cultures for a reason the Iosan deities have vanished/died and a way to fix them rather then simply sitting on their asses being traditionalist and waiting to die/deciding killing everyone before their species winks out is a good idea.

According to Nyssor himself when talking to Goreshade the Eldritch has SORT of the right idea but is still going in completely the wrong direction with it.
It's likely the elven gods need to head back to Urcaen but just slaughtering them won't actually do the job, especially since there's a high probability that the deaths of the other Iosan deities is what drove all of their priests insane.

But yeah; the solution is probably involving sending/sacrificing their beloved deities in a way that sends them back to where they belong, and given the elves zeal over their half-living deities they'd HATE that suggestion.

Goreshade likely would never consider anything other then his version of it bullshit; he's just so far gone mentally down this path and sacrificed so much chasing his belief that he HAS to murder his gods personally that if he turns from it it reveals centuries of effort and undeath and horrific choices as a lie.

It's basically an extremist group within the Fane of Scryah who recently has a few more converts since Ravyn joined up but still remains small; JUST the Mage Hunter units are the core of the Retribution, with all of the other units and 'jacks being contributed by Iosan political factions who are hoping to gain the Retribution's political support.

Vyros rather transparently is just using his affiliation with the Retribution to cast himself as a hero and then get make the first Emperor of Ios as it says right there in his description in the Retribution book for example.

Looking into heavy infantry options for Skorne and I'm kinda stumped. I really like Archdomina Makeda, but her feat only works on friendly faction models, so that means Cataphract Cetratii, Incindiarii, or Arcuarii. And here's where I run into a problem.

Arcuarii seem kinda squishy, but they hit hard and have a gun, so they can drag and kill stuff after being feated back.

Incindiarii also seem squishy and can't fight that well, but their gun is really good, so they also don't really care about not moving after being feated back.

Finally, Cetratii seem like a pain in the ass to remove with Defender's Ward and can be super fast with Savagery, but they don't hit as hard as Arcuarii and it feels like you don't want to charge with them so you can Shield Wall. Also, it feels that without Shield Wall, they're not nearly as tough and when they get feated back, they only have one box, so if something is out of their melee range, they're just going to get killed again and not do much.

So I don't know what to pick guys. Any advice?

Play as terrain heavy as you want, boyo. People tend to steer away from lotsa terrain in tournament play because it eats up a lot of time, but there's nothing stopping you from enjoying the game however you want.

Cygnar had the nicest warcasters and the nicest ruler, yes, but it's internal politics is completely fucked.
A significant portion of the nobles actively plot against the King in favor of supporting his psychotic (but admittedly much more badass) elder brother, and King Leto is politically unable or unwilling to take the steps needed to remove their corruption.

Said corruption also did stuff like give those land reserves they promised to the Trollkin (of whom Ironhide is personal friends with King Leto), only the land in question is a nearly uninhabitable desert and currently has an army of Skorne on it and no, they DON'T see anything wrong with that.

Cygnar's problem isn't that it's run by assholes like a lot of the other faction, but that it's run by okay guys whom are outnumbered by conspiring political agendas running beneath or around them and they can't fight a war AND fight their own countryman so they compromise....badly.

Really, the real reason we don't see it is because it unbalances the mechanics of the wargame, which by design is centered around the 'casters.

In IKRPG you can make characters that are equally broken at higher levels, though PP likes to keep saying "not wargame equivalent to Important Plot Characters!" when they almost literally copy-paste monster stats and only really change some more RPG-ish bits it really sounds more like "it's bad and wrong to kill our Original Heroes even though you can totally eventually become way more broken" to my ears.

Also, Voyle throwing around Stryker like a chump without even wearing Warcaster armor is another good example. Dude only lost because Menoth doesn't give anybody any breaks, even the guys in charge of his entire religion.

Unfortunately, even taking into account the other 2 casters and not trying to be super competitive, there's still not a lot of difference. Syntherion's got either his multi-heavy list, galv spam, or something built around the PA. Mother has either a jack heavy list that's also got some infantry or her tier list, which is a hilarious anti-collosal list. Etc.

Though, really, I liked most/all of the creeps and non-playable races in Warcraft III and WoW. Don't know why. I think it's partly because they all had pretty memorable designs. Heck, the Burning Legion demons are my preferred demon aesthetic, because they're kinda scary without being overdesigned or super-edgy.
