Now, admittedly, with an infinite number of universes to draw from, they only only need the tiniest fraction from each to stave off their own heat death, but they're still potentially condemning a literal, incalculable number of realities.
Alternatively, if they can do this, it might be easier for any race that cares to to just hop into another, younger universe.
