Am I the only one who finds the Space Marines the least interesting (fluff-wise) of the human 40k factions?
Pretty much every other piece of the Imperium has a kind of visceral appeal to me, from the humble and doomed Guardsmen to the Inquisition to the Admech, but I just can't muster the same enthusiasm for the Spess Muhreens.
Which sucks, because judging by what the fluff focuses on absolutely no-one at GW (except maybe Dan Abnett) shares that opinion.
Does anyone else agree? Or, failing that, can you explain why the Space Marines appeal to you personally? There’s so much fucking fluff about ‘em, I wish I COULD get into them.
