Looking for a fantasy game system (with or without setting) that doesn't have fucking skills in it.

It can have traits, talents, feats, abilities, but not a huge list of crappy abilities such as "Climbing" or "Ropes" or "Sucking cocks (with Tongue)" etc.

Why not just fold abilities together, reduce the total amount of skills?

Also, mutants and masterminds is pretty fun for fantasy

Dungeon World just has attributes that you roll on, and feats that add bonuses to certain situational rolls. That may be what you're looking for.

1) Start with your favorite skills-using game
2) lower target numbers or numbers of successes or what the fuck ever mechanic it uses to measure the effect of skills
3) Tell your players, "No skills! You just roll on the governing stat and maybe get a bonus if you describe how you're doing it in an interesting way!"
4) Hand out less build points if those are a thing, or just let the players have correspondingly higher stats.

That wasn't so fucking hard.
