Another played a sort of low class theif type, but with magical and social skills too.
And one person made Sir Gideon, whom was fucking huge.
In GURPS you don't roll for stats. You buy them with a pool of points you use to get everything. Sir Gideon had spent 100 of his 200 points on being as strong as a bear.
He could carry my character, my gear, and his gear, and still be in Light encumbrance.
And it was awesome. It created this wonderfully dramatic presence in scenes and while he dominated pure combat, that was okay. Armed with just a quarterstaff he could crush legs and skulls or, one time no kidding fight a huge werewolf to a standstill.
I don't mind min-maxing when it makes specialized, dramatic characters.
