>>43300099Currently GMing the second campaign with my WIP homebrew system, Universal D6, in a post-apocalyptic steam/diesel fantasy setting based on alternative Earth.
Please bear with me,I know it sounds really stupid when written down.Playing in two different D&D 5E campaigns with the same crew of players.
Campaign #1: Callahan Caldwell, LN War Cleric of Torm - the prosecutor, the judge and the executioner, with enough mercy to spare the truly penitent. Armed with strong sense of law and justice, a radiant sun maul and armored by bulwarks of blind faith and fire-tested steel, he tries his best to be the guiding moral compass for the rest of the party.
Last arc ended with the group overthrowing a fiend-worshipping necromancer guild, controlling a dwarven city as the richest and the most dominant guild (Jewellers' guild).
Now we're about to run after a Fiend-Bladelock
(PC) who wound up with an amulet containing a Tyr'ian fiend-hunter saint's soul - which was taken from Callahan by our group's shadow monk during a court session, me against our wizard, the case being defiling said saint's grave. What a wonderful clusterfuck, and we're loving it.
Campaign #2: Balthasar Wildstone, CG rock gnome
custom class wild mage, formerly half-elf - three-fold cheater of death, an endless source of random magical crap, and the only one with a good heart. He has been hugged by Death, kissed by a succubus, resurrected himself, reincarnated himself as a rock gnome... He also levitates and is invisible unless he speaks - but he can't speak unless he is addressed! He also can only see through his familiar's eyes - an accidentally enlarged owl Oh, and he once summoned a powerful demon to an inter-party FFA arena match! And...and...
Currently we're on a quest to kill a necromancer who has obtained a Book of Vile Deeds, and we're in his hideout dungeon. Another wonderful clusterfuck, and this time all by myself. And I love it!
