It's a good day today, /tg/. I managed to get my first session sorted playing a friend's homebrew-ified D&D. My friendship group's been doing this for ages, but I came into the fray a bit late so there was no space for me to add myself in. But I've gathered other people, and now we can have our own adventures.

I don't want to mess it up.

I've done chatroom-based RPing before, but nothing using dice on a table, face-to-face. If you could condense your vast magnitudes of advice down to, like, three bullet points, what would it be?
