I'm throwing a Halloween party in which my guest have to remain in character.
Im setting up the first floor of my home to resemble a Fantasy Inn/pub and I've encouraged guests to come in costumes that align with the theme.
The "plot" laid out for the party is loosely based on arc of Neil Gaiman's Sandman "The world's end".
There is An interdimentional Pub where various being have taken shelter from an ongoing "reality storm". These srtorms have been known to last decades
BUT! There is a means to safely pass through the storm and return home but it only comes along once a week.
Every month there is a contest. Gold (in our case Poker chips) are handed out and a series of Bar bets are encouraged.
At 12:12 am it will be decided who gets to go home come morning.
So I need some suggestions for Games of chance and Games of skill. I've got poker and Chess lined up and a few others but do any of you have any other ideas?
Or perhaps props hinting at characters in fiction who have passed through the pub and left some thing behind. All I've got right now is An empty pack of Silk Cuts and a deer stalker cap.
