If he instantly insulted a new person he's likely going to make that person a target and likely do it to other new people.
Tell him to stop it or that you won't play RPGs with him anymore. Sure you can still be friends with him, just no DnD because he drags everyone down. If he gets pissy and says he won't be friends with you anymore if you kick him out then CUT THE CANCER OUT. Don't let people hold you emotionally hostage. You don't need the approval of someone who ruins other people fun. The world is filled with over 7 billion people, including many who like to kill goblins on the weekends. You can find a new GM or fourth player.
