Hey /tg/ I don't often come here looking for help how to run games but I've really started to notice a big fault in how my games go.
I mostly play sci-fi stuff, (Star Wars, Traveller, GURPS stuff like Lensman sometimes, etc) but one thing I am utterly terrible at is writing space battles. I can't make them exciting, I can't make them interesting, I notice that I either end up ripping off the beginning battle for Revenge of the Sith or just fall into the routine of making it like old navel battles where the capital ships just sit there and blast each other on the line. The PCs end up with nothing to do other than go into a fighter every time and zip around or try not go get blown up on the ships. I'm also shit at describing how things move in space. Do any of you guys with the gift of the silver pen know how I can unfuck my space shit?
