Hi /tg/! Noob dm here, looking for some advice.
One of my players, playing a rogue is doing all kinds of lying around to get money. Last session, he made a bet on an arena match in the name of the mayor of a town they've been before, with a counterfeit document. Thing is, he's getting mad cash with his little schemes, but I'm afraid of letting him get too rich.
Besides this he is cooperative with the party in every way, actively roleplaying without taking the chance from others.
Should I let him run rampant or do something to restrict these kinds of actions? If so, is there a way that doesn't feel forced?
Anyone have similar stories, with otherwise nice players exploiting stuff?
