I cough, struggling to breath as my master digs through my open chest, rearranging and replacing gears as he hums to himself, the only light in the room beaming out of his clock face as he ticks and tocks with everymovement he makes.

"Master" I groan trying to sit up as he pushes me back down "I'm dreadfully sorry for letting Crimson Dream escape from me last time, it won't happen again, this time I'll drag her back, screaming"

"Tick tock" He sighs looking at me sadly with his featureless face, running a hand through my hair "No, my dear helper, there will not be a this time until you recover, your new limbs will take some time to sync up with your body, if you were to fight her now the only possible outcome of it would be your death, and her taking the powers of time"

"You don't" I begin to growl at him before I remember, he actually does know it

"Yes I do, Tick tock" he says calmly, adjusting his time with a clacking sound as he shakes his head "Crimson dream, while she is powerful, she is no where near the strongest, but the queen has been letting her rest since she hasn't made any attempt to hunt her down and as you know has practically outlawed leaving the realm, out of her own fear"

I nod solemnly, not wanting to interrupt my master while he's ranting.

"Especially since Dream killed that fool of a general Rasputin, the only of our kind that have broken into your old world are either weaklings, new borns or those simply to stupid to realize where they're going, TICK TOCK" He growls angrily,
