So I was chatting with a friend of mine about the general state of 40k, I'm still kind of new to it I was interested in it awhile back but alas like most pre pubesant kids at the time I lacked the money to ever buy anything in a games workshop so that was the end of that. It's been a few years and now I find myself slowly building and buying a Dark Angels army. Anyways I don't know how long it's been but are we still perched on year 999 of M41? I think we are? I don't know. The argument kind of arose after I suggested that 40k needs to move into a new era, even suggested a few of my ideas but my friend was adamant that what was the point in moving past M41. I get that with the new tau and Raven guard stuff they are changing some minor things but I guess it would be nice to see some big new story stuff rather than a perpetual stalemate or something. Anyways my mate left so I'm just curious if anyone else had any ideas/thoughts
If they moved into 41k how would they do it or even should they do it
