>>43327005>You'd think the omniscient narrator would mention that then.You are aware that half of the Dark Angels shtick is being hyper-secretive about any and everything they can be, and that narrators in the 40K universe are either the person the story is about, a third-person version of the former, or a historian/person who came after the fact? Not They aren't going to know every little tiny detail, and most times the narrator is only slightly more "informed" when telling the story than the characters themselves to better convey the tone and feel of the setting itself (i.e. they describe Tyranid monsters without saying their names and letting the reader figure out what the genus is, etc.)
