No one in the party knows it yet, but their latest endeavor got bounties put on their heads.

The game hasn't been going on for a very long time yet - this was basically the introductory quest, as it happens - and the surrounding political enviroment has not been explored much at all: even I don't know what kind of a kingdom they're really in, because I've basically been winging this thing from the start. Is a majority of the entire kingdom equally corrupt? Or was it just this one asshole, or somewhere in between? Did kicking his ass only make them heroes among the poor and the downtrodden, or do they have friends in higher places as well?

I don't know, but it's as good reason as any to make a thread about it and ask people better than me. This seems like something I should develop now, especially if it's going to become a trend.

There's one thing I do know for sure, though: I'm lenient enough a DM that I wouldn't want them to be instantly clapped in irons as soon as they set foot in any larger city, so that would probably mean the kingdom isn't the most lawful or efficient place of them all. But besides that, any advice or suggestions?
