I'm not arguing that it being similar to 5e makes it better, you're arguing that it being similar to 4e makes it worse, and you can't back it up with any evidence of it having any distinguishing features that aren't a feature of all hack&slash rpgs with levels.
It doesn't even have any similarities in formatting with 4e. Characters don't gain powers that come in discreet stat blocks and abilities are described in plain speech, not rule bullet points.
If you're talking about Heroic/Paragon/Epic progression of 4e, then you're talking about advancement not formatting, and again, you're not pointing out a discreet enough feature to criticize over almost any other rpg with levels.
I don't know what 3rd party means in this context but everything that comes out at this point is a mash up of other systems and shit stolen from other games. Dismissing it as such indicates that either too young or too stupid to form a respectable opinion.
