Mind, I DO have more group companions. Most recently, I picked up the minions from Cho Aniki, although I don't actually think those are companions. I'm pretty sure I have the Klokateers, too, and... some other squads I can't remember.
After I do Medabots, I'll have a tiny squad of Rubberobos. So that'll be fun.But the vast majority of mooks I create are actually created by me.
Considering I don't do imports, it's actually just as well.
For the curious -
Clapgolems (FMA's Truth/Clapchemy + MarioRPG's Smithy Army):
Extremely fast formed sentient golems of dirt/stone/sand/whatever. Very weak. Largely phased out in favor of robots.
Only time I ever used these seriously was in Skyrim.
Robots (Too Many Perks To Count):
Build a factory, build an army. I mostly emphasize quantity, with quality only given as possible without effecting production, but I do occasionally build "Lieutenant Class" 'bots of more impressive power.
Goatmen (Goat Simulator's Goat Queen + Legend of Chima's Chi + Water)
Anthropomorphic goat people, kindof useless, but far less so than Waddle Dees. Can actually accomplish simple tasks!
Beastmen (Gurren Lagann's Imperfect Beings)
Whenever I need an ACTUAL standing force with a civilization and automacy (this is rare), I trot out Beastmen. They're super loyal and strong enough to warrent high end flunky status in most low power shonen settings!
