Like a few of you I'm sure, I'm planning on doing a spooky/scary one shot side quest for my players on Halloween. I had a couple ideas to up the spoopy-Ness, and was wondering what you thought of them.
-Rolling checks for my players behind a screen so they don't know how well their check went before I respond etc.
-I normally dm with a laptop in front of me as sort of a screen, should I do away with it and just memorize better in order to lower the lights and make a dark room/ambiance?
