So I'm an avid lurker/occasional participant in the Civilization threads that crop up every so often here, and I'm my usual DM for my group here in Buffalo.
I want to try to do a Civilization-style thing in person, using a board and post-it's to keep track of population, technology, resources, etc. My group will be the 'village council' guiding their tribe through the trials and tribulations of living in prehistoric times.
I have a lot of solid ideas, and will probably keep it simple for the first go-through, but I would really appreciate some ideas as to what might happen to a tribe of prehistoric humans, other than the usual (discovering another tribe, famine, blood moons, discovery of fire, etc.)
tl;dr- What are some points of advice for, or unique things I can throw at a live-action prehistoric Civilization 'thread'?
