Tonight I'm going to be playing in my first 5e dungeons and dragons league game and I'd like some advice. My plan is to play a tiefling wizard who is basically a well intentioned extremist, but I could use help figuring out what alignment is best fits what I have in mind. Back store is tiefing kid was born to a noble family and he was a unruly bastard as a child, so they pawned him off on a religious monastery so as to not have a child around who would cause the family embarrassment. The abby raised him and though rough discipline turned him into an alright guy who wants to do good in the world and make it a better place. Due to his upbringing he sees bad people as people who need ot be corrected like he was, and uses magical means to do so, focusing on enchantment and divination magic.I plan to take the spell school of enchantment so at high level I can mind control people and not have them realized they have been mind controlled afterward. Which alignment suits me best, keeping in mind that as a league game I can't have an outright evil character.
