So an interesting (and very heated) thread popped up on Board Game Geek recently and I wanted your guys' input.

Basically, the creator of the thread was trying to say that the board game community as a "whole" was very sexist/misogynistic etc etc.

He kept quoting reports and statistics that time and time again showed that polled female gamers tended to feel the opposite. In fact only 6% of them even felt they had been subjected to sexual harassment.

So what the hell gives? Where did this vocal group of SJWs that claim board games are sexist come from? Are they an offshoot of the Sarkeesian video game snobs?

How do you deal with them, they don't debate very well and it just turns into a shitfest if you counter any points.

Do YOU think the gaming community is sexist? If so, why. If not, why?

I want a different viewpoint that isn't on a filter.
