>>43353947He is certainly a much closer example, though he is still pretty buff and still wearing a martial arts uniform.
Ill just lay out the details of my argument now, not for you in particular, but because Im tired of repeating the same damn thing when people keep trying to change my argument for me.
A) The artstyle in the comic is similar to the artstyle popularized by many artists on Tumblr
A2) Tumblr has many self-inserts and many fan webcomics
B) Self-inserts are visually defined by appearing out of place among a cast of familiar characters, particularly when they appear much more normal.
Using these, I draw the conclusion that:
1) The OP comic looks like a fan webcomic.
2) The female character in said comic looks like a self-insert.
>>43354060Eh, I wouldnt really call that idealization usually. Idealization typically involves exemplifying the traits that you believe you have, and smudging over the traits that you believe dont have. Moderately smart/strong/attractive becomes extremely so and unattractive/dumb/ugly becomes average. Though this only has minimal influence on the original argument, as the character does not appear to be significantly idealized in this comic.
